I think it's quite well known idea of parts - not exactly of the same orange.
Is it the case of heterosexuality? The case of "going in the same direction"? Do similarities stick together or rather differences?

This is most excellent - it's almost like the cover of my grammar textbook for my english course last semester - it had an apple with a slice cut out showing that the interior was really that of an orange. Nice job though, I like the staples. They really emphasize the attempt to stick two things together that simply don't match.

this is to big. you can't watch the full image in fullview.
and you see unsharpness of the fruits.
make it smaller and do some color corrections and this would be a really nice picture.

just slightly more contrast and a different color balance.
