Since I uploaded a Digimon, why not a Pokemon? I like both series equally to tell the truth.This is my Nidoking, Guido...who, as you can see, is a shiny. I love him greatly and usually he can bring a win for my team (I lose more when I don't have him)...except when I fought Guido died hard to Gallade. Why is he poison type?! *shakes fist at Xion*
I caught him back in Leaf Green when I was running around the Safari Zone trying to find a Kangaskhan. How scary it was to see a shiny in a place they could run away in.
This was a quick color, so don't bite me on the coloring.
Oh yeah, his name came from Samurai Pizza Cats. >_>
I'm going to use him in an upcoming Pokemon Tourny. He's an underused that can fight overused.

Heh heh heh... I kound my first shiney back in silver and it was ablue Nidoran male. Named him Blue. He was the first and last shiney I've seen in the wild. (Good memories... Good memories.)

Holy CRAP! Here I thought I was the only one to catch a shiny Nidoran in the Safari Zone... and I was looking for a Kangaskhan at the time, too! What a small world...!

Nidoking is the coolest Pokemon, to me anyway. Great coloring job, and awesome reference. Samurai Pizza Cats was a great show.

I've always loved the Nidos (king and queen)! You really captured the unstoppable, feral-yet-cunning, monstrous-but-cute essence of a Nidoking!
The pose is spectacular! Something between a battle stance and a confident stand. He's ready to battle, but sure he'll be "super effective". There's even a bit of a proud, showy side, like if he was actually flexing for you.
Even though it's a pokemon (and thus uses the pokemon style), you can still see a lot of your own influence on it. That's a really big detail I like. I don't want to see a carbon copy of what I'd find in the Pokedex, but an armi-styled poke with all the cool armi details I like.
Oooh, and that's a nice, shiny blue you gave him. It's bright, but not glaring at all.

A shiny in the Safari Zone? I would have a heart attack and die right there, especially if the shiny was something like a Tauros or a Chansey, aka "We run as soon as we see you, hah hah!". X_X You're extremely lucky.
Pokemon translate really well into your style. Guido looks like he's going to tear open a new asshole to whoever he fights next, and plus he looks "shiny" alright.
And as for your poison problem, well, you can always equip a Payapa Berry to lessen Psychic attack blows. But then again, that hold item spot could be used for much better things. XD Oh, curse Nintendo for only giving you the option of holding one item at a time!
