Powerful work ! One minor suggestion: add some of those bright warm highlights (like on the statue's arm) to the stone feathers. The feathers feel a bit less rendered than the rest of the piece. Great use of depth of filed, and strong foreground values !

wow the realism with how the shadows hit the angel statue and the angel with the broken wing made me think it was a digi edit... i love how this makes you feel mixed emotions i can definitely see why this was choosen as a DD

I've only started oil painting and I know I could never do something that photorealistic. Looking at the thumb I thought it was a digital edit, but wow. And I find the angel with the broken wing to be absolutely adorable and I feel sad for him at the same time. Great work and great message.
