My hand is bleeding! Oh wait, no, it not, but it certainly feels that way after so many hours of drawing!
I can't believe I managed to colour this, or something in general for that matter.
For those of you who don't know, the guy is from Prince of Persia 2008, a game which I found to be extremely boring, but hey, even if I didn't like it, the guy looks awesome covered in blood.

Sorry, the heat has been driving me crazy the past few weeks, hence why I didn't even stay at the comp for too long or drew anything new. To answer your question, I didn't get any commissions, lol, but it was worth a try. ^^

I think this was the first serious digital painting I ever did, now that I look at it I see sooo many mistakes but I still like it. xD

For this one I used Photoshop CS3, since CS5 and my tablet don't get along but I did try Paint Tool SAI and Painter 11 as well later on. SAI is nice for a less complicated drawing if you don't need a lot of layers and the problem with Painter 11 is that it's somewhat slow. So if you're planning to get Painter I've heard some people say Painter 10 wasn't so slow. I can still use 11 though if I don't make an image with many layers and stick to max 5 layers. Then again if you have a faster computer maybe you won't have any problem with it.
About Painter, it has some really amazing brushes but it took me a few hours just to figure out which ones I could stick to for an easy painting. This is the one I did in Painter, except for the hair, because I couldn't figure out which one I could use to draw it: [link] lol.
Look at the armor, I did that with the Painter's Oils I believe is the name of the brush, I'm totally in love with it. So my advice is to get Painter, sometimes I do some things in Painter and then get back to Photoshop, or there is a nice Layer Blending in SAI that I go to when I can't get the same effect in Photoshop.

..I am currently using Photoshop CS5, though I as well started with CS3, and to be honest,
found the older version beter and more efficient in use :"D
I got CS5 for my birthday from my family, who went through a lot of trouble downloading it
ahahah, so I am using it. But I actually think it has a lot of tools which are pretty much
unnessesary. I actually only use the tools which were also available in CS3
I haven't tried Paint Tool SAI yet, but I adore the smoothness of it's brushes
..as for Painter. Recently I saw a lot of artists arround here using the program, and I
love the feeling and look that comes from the artworks ..though maybe it's just because I look at the amazing drawings from amazing artists like you
..but maybe by cause of people like you, I really feel challanged to try it out~!
But oh.. my notebook isn't the fastest to say it softly, I hope it can handle the program..

I like how you did the headband as well, I think it makes the drawing look very old and traditional, I really like that a lot~!

Neah it wasn't the first drawing I did digitally, it was more like the first drawing I tried to go semi-realistic style instead of anime.
If you try SAI then the Pen Tool is simply amazing! It's like drawing with an actual pen. <3

I haven't really thought about who killed him in the picture, so feel free to use your imagination.
Strangely attractive eh? That's probably because I tried to make him beautiful even dead. As sick as this might sound, I see the whole picture beautiful, with the blood tainting the snow, his half opened eyes and the way he has the clawed hand over his chest just above the cut. I know, I know, I'm twisted. ^^
But it's the sort of twisted beauty I only find in art, not real life, that's just... hell no... >.>

Don't worry, you didn't lose much. All you do is gather Lightseeds and once in a while fight a boss or mini-boss, and nothing else. I almost fell asleep while playing it. XD

Yeah, I was a huge SOT fan and when they changed to this.. I was disappointed. The game lacked fighting and it just seemed silly to run around gathering light seeds. =/
And then to completely piss me off Ubi didn't release the Epilogue on PC... assholes. >.<

I didn't see the trailer but its just the ending was nice actually. Kaileena was so weird lookin with all the make up in the beginning and Farah looked so much better compared to the way she looked in sands of time XD

Nope, I haven't been on it in months, mostly because I've been busy with school and everything. Haha, I've gotten bored of it too before and have taken long breaks, but I agree, the economy really did go down pretty bad!
