Description
I had spent 3 days to finish this drawing. It is my first trial in designing an artist portrait; hope Avril’s fans wouldn’t shun me ‘coz of my “baka” drawing .

I found that I’m quite weak in artwork composition, ha! I took a dead long long looooooooooong time to do the composition for this artwork; keep on adjusting the portrait, the wordings and the Avril’s “star logo”. I always only could found the composition goes wrong after finish drawing some parts. Then, for the sake of my artwork, I been forced to erase and redraw them over and over again. So at last I used my computer to help me deciding the composition, so that I could reduce the risk of making mistakes again in composition. Well, now is 21st century, it’s no harm for me to ask for aid from computer, right? Ha!

The background also took me a whole day to decide. I downloaded a lot photos about lighting in concert as my reference.

I tried to create the transparent effect for both the wordings and the Avril’s “star logo”, but… do them look…. weird…? please tell me!!!

Anyway, hope you all like it. You favorite is my power to draw the next nicer drawing!
