Description Done several years ago, I used to refer to this as Snow "Bear Hands" White, because her head was really tiny and her hands could eat a small city. However, I'm still really fond of it, and thanks to Photoshop I managed to fix the proportions a little. But her hands are still huge.

Pencil, colored pencil.

Love it ^_^ I do want to say I am glad it isn't another Disney version of SNow White, many kudos for that.
And the hands aren't so bad.

I was just searching images of Snow White and I came across this, it is absolutely beautiful - and actually one of the few that deserves all the faves and comments
I love the hair and entire face - wonderful job
Did you use any special techniques/tools for this, I have been working on my drawing recently, and I could use all the help I can get.

Thank you so much!

This one was just done in pencil----one of the few drawings where I actually bothered to use different grades (6B for the hair and other dark shadows). For the whitest white areas (not in the apple) I used a kneaded eraser to get rid of stray pencil dust.. and the apple is the highest-quality crimson lake colored pencil I could get---the lead is soft instead of kind of scratchy, so it looks smoother... Kind of underwhelming, but I didn't do a lot when it came to special techniques or tools----just a lot of attention on gradients. For example, the hair was done by drawing in one strand at a time, starting at the darkest area with a firm stroke and then lessening the pressure before letting up at the area designated to be the highlight.

I like this a lot. Possibly because it reminds me of my style.

Lovely work, the way you handled the hair and eyes is fabulous, she has almost a 1930's film star look about her

I don't even think the hands are THAT huge. True, they are a bit large, but I it doesn't stand out and isn't distracting.
I love the face and the shading, especially the hair is welldone

No matter what the size of the hands are, you could outdo my drawing of hands any day. XD I can see why you're fond of this picture, I recongized Snow White while skimming through the deviatation so easily. It's a wonderful piece even if it's a little old--and the red on the apple is a really nice touch. ^^
