"She's quite a common girl, you know."Tinker Bell.
I always saw Tink as the reject fairy. Scruffy and easily peeved, jealous of Wendy, smartassed, common and unpolished. Peter teases her about how they call her Tink because it's her job to mend the fairy pots and pans, and so I drew a Tink inspired by those ideas. She originally had a belt with a sword made from a sewing needle, but it didn't fit in with the composition.

Very nice interpretation. The roguish and tattered appearance definitely has more personality than the Disney brand.

I absolutely adore your style and the choice of paper. The wings- tattered but sturdy- are so "Tink" and her almost French features bring out the proud, strong Tink we all know and love. Fitting costume- in many ways!- and subtle shading ^.^

I really love this, for the same reason you wrote about in your comments... Disney did so much to twist the original story of Peter Pan that it's kind of a shock to read the original and find that Tink's, well, rather insolent and far from innocent.
