Ep.23: Faithful Father

With a sharp sight, Alek is committed to defend its eggs until the end. Anzu are fairly protective parents and won't go down when a threat is upon their chicks, and even when they are eggs, there is no reason to put the guard down. In the wake of the night, Alek spots a Paressonodon, a small multituberculate mammal with a good sense of smell. The mammal was digging on the litter, but only with Alek's frenetic run, it runs away. Anzu can be dangerous beasts, specially in those moments, where they defend what is most precious.
