Me: 'I should resolve to making brighter, prettier characters with attractive faces'
Also me: 'Deepsea Angler fish prompt? You bet!'
Bardic_Tales up on Instagram threw a prompt my way and I could not resist.
'All the teeth and knives everywhere' he says like.
Though the scene is intentionally dark, I hope the shape of this Deep Angler merman is clear enough.

That looks like one mean mermaid. Those spikes, those teeth, and those eyes. I wouldn't want to bump into her during a deep sea dive.
She seems to be an amalgamation of a Coffin Anglerfish and Fanfin Anglerfish. One species is known for its spiky skin, while the other is very glowy, covered in bioluminescent tendrils.
