Mermay is running up on Instagram.
'Illusion' to me is about remaining hidden, perhaps emotionally as well as physically.
But what effect does reclusivity have on the merperson?
I'm working on improving contrast in my illustrations.
Helpful tip for Photoshop; set up a proof preview in greyscale, that way you can look beyond colour to check which areas need better balance.
