Art response to a popular Twitter meme going on ("Mario & Luigi (from the Mario & Luigi RPG series) vs. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII)"--check the quote retweets to see why it's gone viral). (I initially had the idea for actually animating this one, but I felt that I wouldn't had been able to animate it fast enough before the joke had run its course.)
The joke for this one is if you're aware of this "PASTA POWER!!! " video edit meme of an episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
(...this is probably the first time I've actively drawn Mario and Luigi...probably ever; despite being a fan of the franchise. Although I'm not familiar with the M&L RPG series though.)
