This is amazing!! I'm trying to get back into sculpting but on a more professional level and was wondering what brand clay you use and any specific tools you use to refine detail and keep everything so smooth? I always get my fingerprints all over everything XD Also did this specific figure require some kind of wire framed armature or is it 100% clay?

Thanks a lot , well I use a lot of different tools, and materials. I usually use Super Sculpey firm gray, it is an oven bake clay, is my my favorite, for its consistence and color are perfect, and also use baby oil as a solvent, it's not very aggressive and help to smooth the clay. For the smooth look you mention I use my hands trying not to push hard and for the details I use "clay shapers" like these, [link] they are very useful,, when is baked I also use water sand paper. answering you last question, yes, It needs wire framed armature, and also stuffed with aluminum paper to economize material . Thankyou! You've been super helpful I live in Sweden though and it seems to be almost impossible to find Super Sculpey. All I can find is the children's air dry clay that crumbles. Do you order yours online or do you buy it locally? When I lived in the states they sold it everywhere, I've never had this much trouble locating it before XD

yeah, I know, well I live in MΓ©xico and it's not easy to find it here neither, but luckily, I found a store that sell the clay. When I don't find super sculpey I also use Premo or Epoxic, but I don't know if you can find it in Sweden

Thanks a lot, the sand texture was a little trick with a toothbrush I'm still workin in the Hawaian dancer accesories as soon as I Have it finished I will upload the photo
