my friend use to send me these long emails full of never ending emotional problems. I would reply to the email, removing large chunks of text, leaving just a few bits and pieces that i thought were profound, stitched together, and send it back to the person. I don't think they liked it, cause it was kinda their own thoughts, or at least words, filtered, which was probably painful to read. Then a friend told me about 'cut ups' which i thought i had independently invented.
