En el manga original la que empuja a Naruto es Matsuri, mientras que en el anime es Sari, además quien jura que la proxima vez salvara al Kazekage del peligro es Sari en el manga original. Aparece en el especial al final del capitulo 31, charlando con TenTen.

Tiene 15 años, su cabello es color castaño y los ojos grisáceo claro, y lleva un protector de la Aldea Oculta de la Arena en forma de pañoleta. Es la rival de Matsuri por su amor al Kazekage, lo admira enormemente como persona y como Kazekage, según se menciona en el databook 3, ella fue voluntario para rescatar a Gaara de Akatsuki. No han habido más apariciones suyas, tanto en el manga como en el anime; aunque no se descarta la posibilidad de que vuelva a aparecer; en el manga, en el capitulo 453, sale junto a Itetsu despidiendo al Kazekage que va a la reunión de los kages, solo que no tiene dialogo en esa parte.
