I think this is my first drawing with a full background haha... and it took me almost 5 days to finish. I still need to learn a lot, especially how to draw trees. The trees you see here belong to version 3, the first two versions were horrible @_@
About the story "Lebenszeit"
The characters are Mimi and Mich from Lebenszeit. The drawing marks the beginning of an important event in both of their lives.

This is wonderful! I really like the colour difference from the white snow in the background with the yellow brown of the stone. it really gives the picture some much needed warmth to it but it doesn't take away the crispness of the overall piece.
