An updated version of Kohana.

Kohana is a kunoichi of Konohagakure, the great-great-granddaughter of the second Hokage through her paternal side. Her clan was destroyed when she was an infant and she was raised within the village. Her clan was known for using summoning contracts and she now protects the scroll and its summons. People who knew her parents can see both of them in her personality and looks. She barely knew much of her clan until she was older and visited the clan home that had been relatively abandoned. She learns more of her family’s connection to the Senju clan after discovering Kazue’s journals stored away. While she is aware of her clan’s abilities and the summoning contracts, she’s unable to contact any of the dragons until she’s on a mission that led her and her team to the same location her great-grandmother had vanished. Fighting off the once sealed opponent, she finally makes a connection with Suishou and soon after the other dragons. As she grows older she works on furthering her abilities with the dragon summons. She's close to her teammates and sensei and sees them as her family. Childhood friends with Naruto, they looked out for each other in ways orphans only could, but she does admit she wishes she had been there for him more when they were younger. She admires his personality and inner strength and it is later revealed that she loves and has been in love with Naruto, eventually beginning to date him.
She's very soft spoken and gentle, and tends to have a mothering personality....though when she gets annoyed it's noticeable.
