Source : My Little Pony Friendship Is MagicBackdrop : Old concept worked out because last year sucked and I needed something to cheer up and cautiously hope for better.
Discord does plenty of pop culture reference to assume he visited our world and maybe saw this movie.
The title is a reference to the butterfly effect, a subset of chaos theory.
