Here's the description about him:

"Zion Aries is rather exotic looking for a forest verpardi, being that he carries the 'prehistoric' verpardi gene; which causes him to grow a thick mane and slightly longer canine teeth. Zion is also a former member of the Maulkat Mob, a gang of aggressive, adrenaline fueled bikers who would cruise around and intimidate others, steal valuable goods and fight viciously among one another. It seemed as if he couldn't bond with anybody, until he met the love of his life from another biker gang – Heather Aries.
This gorgeous verpardess was immediately attracted to his beastly looks, despite his bad reputation and bad attitude towards most people. She had witnessed him being kind and gentle with the maulkat species and other innocent creatures. Something people rarely saw of him because he didn’t like to be seen as a weakling. Thus she believed that he could be a good man if he found trust in somebody, and so she tried her luck with him - their bond and physical attraction grew strong as they got to know one another.

Nowadays the pair enjoy living a more rural life in contrast to the majority of their technically advanced race. He is now a slightly more relaxed family man who helps look after sick and injured wildlife in the wilderness alongside his wife and children, leaving the gang-life well behind. It isn't unusual for him and his partner to be roaming the forests in more 'natural' way, neither... as long as the children aren't anywhere nearby, that is"
And because that leaf is placed so conveniently, of course there're other (two) versions without that!
