Description
The Caliphate of Turkey was the initial belligerent of the Flood War, invading Kurdistan and Armenia in 2026, and eventually conquering all of the Middle East and Central Asia. They were eventually beaten back after the fall of China by the Coalition, however the mark they've left on the world remains a dark reminder of what Mankind is capable of.I've had this flag sitting on my laptop for a while now, and I'm still not totally satisfied with it.

by "what humanity is capable of" what exactly did the caliphate do? As well, do you have the heartland theory (basically that central asia is the gateway to domination of eurasia) play out intentionally in stone leviathan?

They restarted the Armenian and Kurdish Genocides in this scenario. And no I am unfamiliar with the heartland theory, though I may want to incorporate it from now on.

Well, it looks more like a Fundamentalist Ottoman Empire flag. But still nicely drawn. There weren't any Christian Theocratic counterparts on the opposing side (ala Palin's America)?

Basically its an Islamic Empire typically spanning a large portion if not all Muslim nations. The Ottoman Empire was such a nation, and the first one was established by Muhammad in Medina.

Its not an Islamic Empire, its a state who there is a Caliphate... its the "Pope" of muslims...And for 7 centuries, the ISlamic "pope" was in the Ottoman Empire, the last Caliphate is Abdulmecit II, a Turk.

I was just trying to give a layman explanation, I am aware that it was the first welfare state, and one of the earliest constitutional republics.
