Description
The United Earth, established in 2020 with the ratification of the World Constitution following the end of Humanity's struggle against the Ch'rix invaders, is planet Earth's first "World Government." Established to provide for a common defense against any future invasions and secure world peace and prosperity in the post-war world, the new state spent the better part of a decade reverse engineering captured Ch'rix technology for new industries, building new planet-wide infrastructure networks, and providing basic civil services. The Federal government of the United Earth is modeled largely off of pre-war Western Presidential Republics, resting power in a bicameral Congress, a High Court, and a Presidency. The Federal Government, however, has very little power over the lives of its citizens, and is concerned primarily with global development and expanding humanity's reach into the stars.

The Great Seal of the United Earth was modeled off of common symbols of the Earth's many cultures, and the ideals of its founding. The Eagle in the center was featured due to the prevalence of various types of eagle used in symbols in pre-war nations such as Russia, Germany, Indonesia, the America, etc. The Scroll in its left claw represents wisdom and the blade in its right claw represents war. The eagle looks to the scroll symbolizing the desire to avoid war through the persuit of reason and knowledge, but remembers the need for defense. The olive branches were derived from the old United Nations Seal, symbolizing peace. Shield of the Earth on the Eagle's breast represents Earth as the heart of humanity, while the star above represents mankind's celestial aspirations.
