She's plenty wonderful thanks to your backstory for her. ^-^

I don't know how I only just now saw this...Β
I am so with you on everything except modern heroes replacing the gods. She's called Wonder Woman... Somehow I see that as returning wonder to the world - bringing back the forgotten magic and mythology.
Otherwise - the hair alone is fantastic, and your depiction definitely portrays what the character should be.
In my own fan-universe I take your rules 1&2 as the same thing. When there's a major deviation from the original characterization or origin, then that's a new character entirely.

Hey man! Big fan of your work! I was hoping that maybe you could do some conceptual design for an animated movie I'm trying to get made! If you do I can promise promotion on my Facebook page (56,000 fans and rising) and website! Hopefully you're interested!...If you are shoot me an email at thearrowverse@gmail.com with the subject "Arrow/Flash Crisis"
Thanks- Arrowverse!

I really don't have the skillset you're looking for. I can barely do simple standing poses like what you see here.

I like this depiction. Not super-sexualized, but at the same time imposing and intimidating in the way a superhero should be. I also like that you made her look ethnically Greek for once.

Nice work and a good conceptualisation at that too.

Good concepts, but the 'end of magic' mood that you want to give wouldn't please Wondy fans unless you counter-balance it with tech advancement.
Good on giving her darker skin like Chiang too.

I'd want it to be Tolkein-esq high fantasy. Wonder Woman has all her powers, magic derived or otherwise, but she is a relic of an era that has already left the Earth. Other relics of Olympus occasionally break into the world, coveted by those who find them, but their power is but a shadow of when they were held by their true mastesr. Themyscira is the Vilcabamba of the Olympians, the last holdout, ultimately doomed to be swallowed by the world around them, its just a question of when.Β

I imagined that, elves leaving middle earth. That's sad. She's about hope, even more than Supes.

Oh, I know, but just because her old world is ending doesn't mean she cannot be a symbol of hope for her new world. In a WWII Wonder Woman movie we should see her saving people from the most dire situations, and instill that man's world is not a lost cause, that things will get better.
