Emo and Heavy Metal music are not good friends, even both are somewhat underground. But both styles are amazingly good if made right!

god i'm getting all nostalgia just looking at this, looking back at when i was in middle school and everyone was emo and it was always black and (insert and color) and everything sold at hot topic was a beloved children's character "emo-fied" and i was always hearing this song that perfectly sum'd up the emo era: [link]

I used to be emo. It was nice during the first two, but some months ago I had a really big depression and I thought it was the time to change some things, including my style.
I do still like emo music and aesthetic, though.

yeah i use to dress emo in middle school yet i was never really depress or anything, i started going through depressionifor a short period in high school though when i went through a goth phase, i guess i was a poser emo, now im grown up and out of high school and i dress like a slacker not caring what i wear, even pajamas to the gas station, i still like emo music too lol
