We'll start with negative because there is not a whole lot wrong with this piece.
I can't really agree with the placement of Constantine's tail, I just don't feel like it should be THERE. I also feel like his bowtie shouldn't be to the side; but rather in the front. The big thing I didn't like is his chest area. It went from furry to smooth (due to his vest?) and the white spot there on what looks to be his arm just doesn't look right. The bottom half of this picture (chest & tail) are very confusing to me, because I had to put a lot of thought in to decipher what was what.
Now for the postive: I love his color scheme. They all go together quite nicely, and that's important, bdcause you wouldn't want him a colorful mess, being the mysterious looking fella he is. I absoulely love the design of his monocule. It's unique.. You did a magnificent job on the shading and the background. I love how you used contrast by highlighting the edge of his ears while they were against the black background to make it easy to decipher that his ears and the background were not one. Constantine has a facial expression that goes with his form, which I love. He has a very interesting design, he just catches my eye.
This is a very good piece of art. Almost Every little thing you did made him pop. He's absolutely gorgeous, and I just love love love what you did with him! I don't know if anything any of us will do can be considered ANYTHING but "independent." We're all too busy for any of it to matter, anyhow.
I don't know when he's going to start the game. He said he had been playing around with coding and stuff earlier in the summer, but has been so busy recently that I haven't even been able to talk to him outside of dA.
