Yes I know that Kangaskhan and her pup aren't offically from Cubone and Marowak's evolution, but 85% of people say he wears the skull of her. And even the pup looks like Cubone but smaller. I just thought it'd be nice to add her ^^Rules:

I personally think that the skull is that of a mother charizard,and there's a theory that because the baby charmander never got its tail lit(because I don't think that flame comes out of no where) it never brightened up to be a bright orange, and got spinal deformities.
Charizards are very aggressive pokemon, and in the real world animals get very aggressive when you go near their nest/young. So the charizard may might the worst decision and pick a fight with a pokemon that it is not going to win against. That pokemon could easily kill the mother charizard. And, because the mother isn't able to shelter the eggs from the wind and cold, the one most shelted from the wind is the only one to survive. Now, by this time, the mother has started to decompose.
Or, if charizards nest in groups like people think some dinosaurs did. The orphaned Charmanders are abandoned, and the survivor finds a skull of an already composed charizard.
I personally don't think that it could be a Kangaskhan because of the plate on her head. And besides, you can find male cubones and marowaks, but you can't find male kangaskhans.
But that's just my oppinon. This base is pretty damn good though.

It couldn't be Charizard for Cubone nor Marowak have no wings. And it says offically that its the skull of his mother and if anything, Charizard would be a male so he'd be a father XD

I know its not offical but its never explained who Cubone and Marowak's mother is. And if you look up Cubone on google images, Kangaskan comes up as his mother EVERYWHERE XD

Because her little baby is a baby Kangaskhan,look at the megaevo of kangaskhan, the baby comes out of the bag and battles with his mother.
