My childhood favorite: Brutus from Popeye. This is going to be an 2 part serie of paintings. Obiously the second part is going to be Popeye. Now there was a show that makes me laugh even nowadays all grown up! Now I have a tip for you speed painters out there. If you decide to do an real digital painting instead of speed painting, do it BEFORE you have already done it fast.I'm pretty happy the way this turned up, I just hope I manage to squeeze myself to paint the second part. Hey hey btw, this was the first painting I did with colors straight from the start! I thought that it would be problem. I'm surprised!

so many have been lost by the Disney stuff but there are so many that produced cartoons that are lost in the modern age, Popeye was one of the best - the old ones were far better than the ones made latter

thats great, really looks angry with his hat! I know its only the background but the way youve done the sea has worked really well. I like the slightly muted colours as well its not too overbearing.
