2018, it's interesting that despite we got official hippogriff design, we did not see Silverstream, Terramar, Novo & Skystar being made just yet. Must have been making them from scratch.

your profile pic isn't well aligned to the perspective of the book. also, it looks like two books mashed together.
i may also point out the lack of purple tint near the edge of the head feathers.
and the beak... need i say it? maybe i should. it wide and perfectly flat lipped, like a duck.
regardless, this is good scratch work. while the details aren't perfect, i must give you credit for building this entirely from scratch, as opposed to borrowing a template, adding hair, and recoloring the whole thing. A+ for good effort.
