Mmmm, the fur is divine. Though I think I like more how you added the bright green in there, more eyecatching and great against the brown.

All I have to say is I'm in awe of your patience. That's what usually keeps me from taking on anything that really needs detail-justice and that's just what you did, on top of your talent. I say encore because some people are just too lazy to use their talents whatever they may be. <_< >_>

This is stunning!
As someone who works a lot with animal realism in oekaki I'm amazed at the quality of this drawing - the detail in the fur is absolutely mindboggling. Wow... the detail of the colours, the thickness, the direction, the feel of the fur, it's just beautifully textured
Congratulations on the patience and perseverence, this really is among the best I've seen in animal realism!

This is so realistic! When I saw that it was an oekaki, I'm so impressed that I can't be impressed beyond that level anymore! It's fantastic! You must have really put a lot of hard work and effort into this, and it truly shows. Wonderful art. Even the background looks realistic!

Are... are you kidding me?! Oekaki's supposed to be half-arsed Paint-like drawings that I do when I'm bored! They're only supposed to take 10 minutes tops and have any disregard for color or... or anything! How do you do this?

But on a brighter note, I've rejoined an oekaki board, who I'm hoping won't mind several days of safety saves so that I can get back into the swing of things. Lol.

Wow...... 18 hours.......... would have probably taken me 10 times more time to do it........but then again......my drawin skills aren't as good as yours....and so I would have given up within the first...oh....say......2 hours (and this is me with a pencil.....leftys using a mouse with their right hand... PAH! forget computer art!...at lest with a mouse) Very nice work! Incredibly blown away by the beauty and the complexity of your work. Keep up the good work! Yeah!

Oh WOW.. Mouse art == painful for me, and the thought of those hours is making my hand hurt in sympathy! WONDERFUL job. I can't tell if its a photo or a drawing. VERY nice work. You have a lot of reasons to be proud.
I think I noticed it wasn't a photo because of the chin.. theres a little section on the kitties chin that doesn't look quite as realistic as the rest of the piece.
But anyway, nice job!

This is one detailed drawing. When I saw this as thumbnail, on your homepage .. I though what a great photo. It was soo colourfull and all. Now then I saw that it was drawn by MOUSE. That is amazing.
The eye really stands out, the texture and colour are just great. Due the black lines around the eyes it really looks like it's deep inside the head, like a normal cat.
The fur is amazingly detailed too. If I din't see the orriginal photo, I would not believed this was a drawing. The only problem is that when it goes to the background ... it kinda "stops". Maby you could have worked with a translucent layer? to make it look like it's thinner on the sides. Non the less, the fur is absolutly great.
The nose look very real too. The brown colour on the nose is just like other cats have it. The brown hairs on the top and the orange skin in the front. Though here I see a problem too. It might be me, but it looks like it's not in the right angle. The nose looks like it's pointing out the head, like a dog. Of course on a small scale ... but still.
The whole drawing is perfectly good, the above mentioned points .. but also the ears ( oooh yes, the ears! ) , the background, the way she looks, etc. The critical point were made to improve your art ... not to bash you

I could have SWORN that was a photograph, all right. The realisim involved is beyond awesome, down to the very last detail. I couldn't think of doing such a thing using oekaki. Amazing.
