i love the composition.the shadings.the contradiction between details and softer details..create a grand effect.which then made this a moving piece.

i'd describe it as magestic yet somber in anticipation of a great defeat. beautiful. those birds symbolize the upcoming death. maybe the odds are not in their favour.
