I too have bought two birdhouses where sparrows can live whenever they please. though they dont perch on hands but they honor me by living in a place i made for them

Yes they are great friends to have living next to you. I have birdhouses but no one lives in them ... I guess they have enough bushes on offer lol.

O my birds in the garden don't feed on my hand ... well I did not try them yet. These were juvenile great tits from the Botanical garden in Berlin. but they are great anyway ... all birds are.
