I'm somewhat aware of the language of flowers, but I would never claim to be a master.  Do you know what dahlias, roses and daffodils mean in that language?

I'm not master myself, but from my understanding flowers do have some sort of simplistic meaning behind them. Roses usually stand for romance and depending on the color of the rose, the emotional feelings you have towards another. Dahlias symbolize dignity and elegance with a lasting bond of commitment to friends and family. Daffodils usually represent rebirth and new beginnings.

The red roses you used symbolize love.  Dahlias with their elegance and loyalty meaning definitely suit PeroSpero, and the rest of the Charlotte family as well.   It's family first, and family last, and family by and by...  When you're an Addams (a Charlotte), you do what Addams (Charlottes) do or... dieeeeeeeeee!

Thank you.  As for daffodils, the genus they are part of is named for the vain and terrible mannered youth called Narcissus.  He was so beautiful and so vain that the gods cursed him to fall in love with his own reflection. In time, he wasted away by a stream of clear water because of his refusal to leave his "lover", and a daffodil, or narcissus as they are sometimes called, sprang up in the place where he died.
For their modern meaning in the language of flowers, like white calla lilies, flowers in the narcissus family have a tacit connotation with death.

I am very well aware of the history of Daffodils, haha. They are a particular flower of interest for me. They also represent bad luck if they are given in singles. But seeing as they are a flower of springtime, they are also connected with the ideals of rebirth and new beginnings.
