I will wait patiently for a new opening, but I do have one question - if I was hoping to commission 2 drawings - do I have to commission them separately? Or as long as I get a spot and I commissioned both at the same time, I can maybe get both?

I hope you're planning on doing comissions again in the future as I'd love to have you do a wallpaper piece for me featuring Ami Mizuno.

Is there a way to get an estimate? As in we give you our basic idea and then you tell us how much it would most likely cost?

Question... What if I just want a left-hand with the wedding band holding on to a whiskey bottle, with a vague, blurry, port-side-pub-looking background with no real details? What about that? 8D;

Just a question about the backgrounds: if I ask for one, can I ask for whatever background I want, or does it have to be one of the examples?

Take pity on a broke girl who just wants a simple sketch of a five-year-old Sesshomaru making a mess all over a kitchen counter that's too tall for him while he just tries to be a big boy and make himself a bowl of cereal?
Or like... You could do point commissions when you have time.
People, (myself included), would be all over that.

For Cell Style is it always 'chibified'? If not, is there an example of the not? Thanks.

Excuse me, but would you mind if I used your Commision Info page as a template for my own? It's my first time making one, and you have by far the most straightforward and well organized one that I have seen yet. I would be sure to give you credit, and I would not be copying it exactly.
Thank you very much.

While it makes me sad your not doing commissions I guess i'm sorta relieved, i myself have no paypal account and my parents probably wouldn't even pay for the commission i have in mind. 3:>
I love your work big fan <3.

I hope you don't mind my asking, but when do you think you'd be able to do commissions again? I really love your chibi styles 1 and 2 and was hoping to have one or both for one of my fandoms which is so very sadly lacking in fanarts.

How often do you usually offer commissioning? I've seen some artists offering almost once a month but I can't recall seeing you offering save for that one time back in 2007 but from comments posted, you've obviously offered more since then. I've been thinking of having someone do a couple of characters from my original story (still in progress) and you were the first person I thought of for who I'd love to have draw them. Just curious.

You commissions prices are very fair ^^ and reasonable, I might consider asking for one but in the meantime Iām still debating. Since I have yet to use my own paypal for such things.

Sweeet! I ADORE your art... So I think I just might have to keep an eye on a future opening. I'd love to have a Cain/DG for my fanfic-in-progress.... Hurray for birthday money. You'll be hearing from me again - and thanks for having this option open, to those of us without any artistic talent at all. LOL

I have a question, but first I will need to explain myself as to not confuse you or make you think I'm crazy o_o. Okay, so... once I get the money or when a slot finally opens up (whichever comes first) I'm hoping to order a cell shaded style 2 chibi picture of my OC. Well...I have pictures of her that I drew, however, none of them are colored. However! I do know what colors would be used so...the question. For a referance, would you want a guide that has just the base colors, or all the colors that would be used? Like...example: if the skin needed 3 colors, would you want me to send you just the base skin color or all three colors that would be used for the skin? I know that the cell shading technique is different for each person, so thats why I'm not sure what to send once I make my request.

YoukaiYume In reply to Cecona [2008-12-11 20:52:56 +0000 UTC]
sorry for the late reply. All reference that you give me needs to be enough that I can at least visualize it in my mind. If you already have a preconceived color palette, the LEAST you can send me is a written detailed description of your character including their colors. The most helpful if is you already have a sketch of your character and if possible a colored picture.
The colored picture (if you plan on sending that as reference) is only needed for the base color. Shades and highlights are always subject to lighting when the artist themselves illustrate the picture. So the only thing that is needed is the base color. Hope that helps.
