FULL VIEW PLEASE!Omigosh... this picture took soooo long! I don't know why, I thought it would be easier black and white/screentoned.
Anyway...My new favorite couple form Samurai Champloo... Jin/Fuu! I've had this image in my head for a really long time now. Wanted to play with prints and fashion. It's sort of Moulin Rouge-ish/Victorian Gothic/French...thing.... yeah. I'm pleased with how it came out though...
I heart butteflies. ^^

Wow, this picture is spectacular!
First of all, the costumes are simply amazing. Fuu's costume in particular is to die for. I especially like the fishnet stockings+garters and the way the dress flows out behind her. The butterfly prints are very appropriate for her and keep with her "wind" theme. Jin looks very nice as well - the formal look does wonders for him!
I like the way you've positioned the two characters. I'm not the biggest Jin/Fuu fan, but even I like the tension and longing you've put into their postures. I can just feel the air simmering around them.
I also like the Italian phrases in the background; the font you chose blends in well with Fuu's butterflies. The black and white coloration also lends a sophisticated tone to the picture.
The one critique I have is that the characters' hands - especially Jins' - look too large. But I dunno, maybe it's just me and my warped perspective. It doesn't detract from the picture, though.
Overall, this is a very sexy image! It makes for a stylish wallpaper, too!
