19/08/2020: Haha hey guys, had to add some watermarks as I noticed that someone has reuploaded my art and claimed it as their own. Sorry!Clay Terran sprites I made for the sprite contest over atΒ court records .

Well I think that's an interesting idea. It means Clay's final moments would be a big shock seeing his best friend stand over him with a knife in his hand.

It truly was a shame that we could not meet Clay Terran before he was killed, yes his death is sad because we learn he was a nice guy and a close friend of Apollo Justice but if we had actually met and talked to him while he was still alive his murder would be even more tragic.

I know, I was really looking forward to meeting him! It would have been so good to see him interact with Apollo, and yeah, it would have been even more tragic if you as a player had beeen given a chance to speak to him before his death. A real shame, he would have been a really great character, and I would have loved to have seen the sprites and animations they would have given him!! I adore the creativity in this series in that aspect.

Hi, I was hoping I would be able to use these sprites for an online Ace Attorney game to make Clay a playable character in it. Would it be ok if I adapted the sprites for the game and did that? Yeah I know what you mean, drawing arms is definitely something I need to work on. When I get back into drawing more frequently I'm definitely going to work on improving my arm-drawing skills.

Oh, man, this is so AWESOME! XD My favorite is the bottom middle.
Clay: Um... uh... It was.. w-was, um- M-Mercury-! Saturn-! uh, A-Apollo 13-!?
Apollo: (looks up) What?
XP I can't be the only one to notice that there were seventeen Apollo rockets shot up (technically, there was supposed to be twenty, but 18-20 were cancelled, and- actually, Apollo 1 blew up in the countdown to launch..). All the ones on the bottom are awesome, really (not to say they're not all awesome, but those are my favorites).
Why is it when I see the bottom left one all I can think of is an alternate universe where Starbuck was killed and not Clay?
Apollo: Hey, Clay!
Clay: Huh-? Oh- hey...
Apollo: ...What happened?
Clay: ... Did you watch the news this morning?
Apollo: No, I slept in, so I was kind of late- Clay, you're holding your visor again. You only do that when...
Clay: There was a murder at the Space Center.
Apollo: ...!
Clay: ... Mr. Starbuck is dead.
Wow, one AM does not want to be kind to me DX The third one is just... I'm torn between bursting into laughter and exploding into 'AWWW'ing cuz he's just so adorable!
(When Clay is first learning under Starbuck- after meeting Apollo and after that group picture, but before HAT-1)
Starbuck: Alright Clay- this thing's really heavy to walk around in, but it'll be easier when you're actually up in space. You're gonna need to know how to... ....Clay?
Clay: ... (completely and utterly out of touch with the world)
Starbuck: Clay? (waves a hand in front of his face) Hee-eeyy! Anyone home?... Clay, that grin is really starting to freak me out.
Clay: ... *I'M ACTUALLY IN A SPACE SUIT!! Like a real, bona-fide ASTRONAUT! This is so awesome~!* (too happy to speak)

I wasn't too sure about the one on the bottom middle, I thought it might have been a bit too over the top and childish? But I still thought it fit the image I had of Clay, so I left it.
