I actually have interest to Rome as well. Especially the army. I learned a lot about gladiators. I study their outfit because it will make my depiction of the crucifixion more accurate.

Oh. Oh no. That is actually a lot more dramatic and serious than I thought. I didn't expect Bowser's minions to set the town and castle on FIRE. That's going too far, Bowser! He can sometimes be such a silly villain, it's hard to imagine him going this far! O_O

The stakes are rising faster than the heat! It's getting INTENSE! The Koopa Troop is not a gang you should mess with, unless, of course, you're the super Mario brothers.
I've always pictured Bowser as a more threatening baddie than a comedic one. Sure he has his silly moments, but he's also ruthless and brutal, and determined to get his way no matter what. In Platformers, we actually learn his motivation and backstory and I try to make him more fleshed out and interesting.
