Definitely an improvement but the neck should probably just be all dark instead of trying to throw in some highlights. It distracts from the detail of the mane and bounces the eye around too much. The face should be the most lit/detailed part of the picture, which means the neck would have to remain shadow. It's much better, though.

I loove that song.
Overall the coloring looks good but you could definitely use some stronger shadows and sharp highlights (especially highlights in the hair). The contrast of the shading isn't strong enough to produce a dramatic image.

i've been listening to Nightwish all morning in my little drawing spree!^^ i especially love Meadows Of Heaven. the music is sooo beautiful!
but that's boring and too much work! i don't wanna!xD besides, it's getting dark in the scene so no sharp highlights at that light direction.(says my pitiful logic) and that is about as bright as my highlights will get. x)
or better yet, we can just but all the blame and excuses to the point that my new contacts are acting haywire with light reflections so everything looks bright and foggy anyway!xDDD

I have the orchestral version of Meadows of Heaven, and it's perhaps better than the version with lyrics because you can make out all of the more subtle sounds in the arrangement that get lost in the final mix. Have you ever listened to Within Temptation? They're similar to Nightwish, and pretty good. I think you would like them.

I'm sure that there are many more, but I'm a little pressed for time so that's all you get for now. In a nutshell, low light settings actually help promote more dramatic shadows and highlights, rather than hinder them. So there. Muah. xD
