I must confess I don't think it was THAT bad, as most people seem to think - as in, it wasn't DragonBall Evolution. - But yeah, it could have been much better, and some of the casting was reaaaaly off...
I mean really, all the fire-nation guys who were supposed to look badass, looked like comic reliefs, and the one guy, Iroh, who is supposed to look funny, looked badass...
And the dialogue was a bit week, and it's not easy to fit in 21 episodes into 90 minutes...
(Personally, I think that LOK would make a better movie - it's only 12 episodes, it's fast paced and the story is less episodic, then ATLA was, so it might work out better. I'd have some cast suggestions even! ^^ But yeah, 90 minutes would still be too short even for LOK.)

It's funny because Nickelodeon is showing that movie on January 21, and the ONLY thing they said about it during the commercial was that it was a "block buster movie"
