First of all, I'd like to apologise for how horrible Toriel looks. I based their looks roughly how they look in game.

I made this two years ago, and have made some rough attempts of redoing this cover better. I might get one done someday.

So, yeah, this is for my Undertale fanfic, and is easily my best story to date. Taking place after one pacifist run, Frisk and friends enjoy their new lives upon the Earth's surface. Sadly, the good times don't last long until Frisk is whisked away on another adventure, this time to a land in the sky, far above the clouds. In this new monster kingdom, it is ruled by the great and powerful Emperor Maxus (pictured above) who vows to use Frisk's soul to enact revenge upon humanity. And so, Frisk must avoid getting caught and find a way to escape this new world and return home; but, like in Undertale, they discover that things are never that simple.

I tried to illustrate how opposing Maxus is by having him large and evil silver-eyed above our heroes. I also tried to fit the emotion to each character, which is why Undyne is snarling, some are shocked, and Sans simply doesn't see the big deal with this guy. The most challenging aspect was contrasting part of the image to get a white outline over a black background without altering the characters below. A little patience and some delicate editing got the result I wanted.
