Description


In the last days I had been thinking about Mirai's family and I decided that Mizumi (her mom) and Yuu (her brother), that in her first story died in a fire, were not going to die. Mirai's past doesn't influence much her present story. I'm changing the story on their Wikias too but I have to finish yet.

In short: Mizumi never leaves the Clan thought she is pregnant with an outsider, and Mirai and Yuu are born in the Village of the Three Moons and live there for their whole childhood. When they are around 7 an angry ex of their mother sets fire to their house were Mirai is injured but (Mizumi and Yuu don't die). When Mirai and Yuu are 9 they are offered the possibility to leave the Clan to see the "world outside" (sort of Amish thing). The age is kept so low so that people are not inclined to leave the Clan. Yuu decides to stay but Mirai wants to find her father and live adventures so she departs for the world. The rule of the Clan is that if you came back before 10 years you can't leave the Clan anymore. If more then 10 years pass they can become "ambassadors" as Mirai does.

Not sure when this moment is, if when Mirai goes to ask help to her family to became a nukenin or after the war when she goes back home.
I decided to draw this for few reasons. First is summer and I felt in the mood of drawing something summery and bright. Second since I was writing the new bio I wanted to do a pic with Mirai and Yuu. I love how he looks in adult version. I'm glad I "brought him back". This is not his official outfit, just a summer version. For Mirai is the same.
