you might need to turn the brightness on your computer screen up then, its fine on mine

Do you have any art programme? Old moniters often show work darker than normal, I would suggest opening it in an art programme and adjusting the lighting manually.

I wanted to let the artist know it looks like this on crt monitors. More or less like reportin' errors on a website. She can either ignore it or try and be careful with dark pictures, as they may appear all black on dark crt monitors.

Yeah, it does that a lot >_< I have that problem though, I work on LCD monitors but the only comp with an internet connection is this one so when I transfer my art I always have to edit the lighting, its so annoying but I can't see a way of getting round it

I work on crt, but mo other comp is lcd, though I'm gonna change my current monitor to lcd too, cause it's agressive to eyes and I want a bigger size. But I'm keepin' my current monitor to check the colors, cause lcd will never get them right.

Thankyou for the info, sadly as I only work on LCD screens I have no way of knowing how it will look on a crt monitor, and if I make my picture lighter they will be too light for LCD screens and loose thier atmosphere, I cant please everyone sadly, sorry.
