Description So I finally got myself to start packing today, and I was on a roll until I picked up an old Ranger Rick magazine (we were given a ton of them and I still keep a bunch for reference) that had a gorgeous horned lizard on it. As soon as I saw it, I knew no more work could be done until it was made into a dragon. So here it is.

Horned lizard dragon = awesome. I knew his features looked familiar; you definitely captured the horned lizard look.

Indeed! Anything that can look that thorny naturally is cool in my book. I love animals that come with their own body protection. Stegosaurus, armadillos, horny toads...good stuff.

You know...it adapts very well to a dragon form This is one of the most detailed dragons heads I've seen you draw/post.

What's the story on that symbol behind the creature? Just filler? or something more?

Yeah, for some reason I don't normally go for drawing the really detailed/scalely dragons. I don't know why, because I think they're pretty cool.

The bg is just filler- a photo of a book cover I took while packing, actually. Although who knows- I might end up making it into something more.

Oh my my my, now this little lizard is interesting. The head is spikey and wonderful which adapts it to the environment perfectly.

Keep up the good work, and keep working in this style. It's a little dirty on color, but it pleases the eye.
