I felt bad that people were still +faving that super old Inu-papa sketch in scraps I did around ten thousand years ago so I decided to actually finish this! This picture has been sitting on my computer for too long! It's as done as it ever will be now, so yay!Everyone loves the papa-sama. Rawr. He comes up with the greatest tests/trials to level up his kids!
Inu-papa (for he has no better name) belongs to Takahashi Rumiko!

I really like how his eyes are one of the warmest and brightest of the the colors in this; they draw the viewer right to them. He's also off-centered, but not awkwardly so. The sky and stream balance against him. Nicely done!

I have been admiring this picture since 2006. It formed the mental image of Inu-papa for me. It is absolutely amazing! I would die to be able to paint like this. It leaves me breathless every time I see it.
