I use both shotguns, Raven with HE shells for snipers skulldozers and shields, and judge for the rest

Also, in stealth, nothing beats the Locopult!

I find the Judge useful in terms of close combat with armored foes.
But i use an assault rifle for my primary with a holographic scope. [allows me to hone in on enemies. Namely snipers, just follow the red line.]

That's pretty much the same reason why i use shotguns in Borderlands 2 (is hard to aim without my mouse and keyboard)
