Description Um. While all the "fashionable" kids were off bashing TÊa, I was sitting in the corner going "Nooo, REBECCA is the most annoying female character!"

I try not to let that affect how I portray her, though, really I do.

YES! Rebecca IS the most annoying. And THEN there's Tea. (I know how much you hate the bashing and call it 'fashinable' but I never liked her to be honest, not even when I was first watching the show when I was like six to now, ten years later.) Just had to get that out there.

Yes, crazy senseless bashing is awful. For any character. I mean, I may not like Tea but I do see her relevance in the story. I just wish she had a more realistic figure. I live in Japan and no chicks are that busty. The only ones that come close are American women.

Heh. It's probably the fault of Takahashi reading too many American comics, if you ask me.

Although her figure IS pretty realistic compared to some of THOSE chicks. Personally I try to justify it by giving her a little extra chub and muscle, but I do get what you mean.

So true. I mean the American comics are like BOOBS OMG, THEY WILL NOM YOUR FACE. And, yeah, she is more realistic but why are they so THERE and jiggly? This sounds totally weird but watch an episode sometime and pay attention to her boobs. And I thank you for the chub and flub. It makes it more fun to read if you ask me.

What's more totally weird is that I have watched her boobs and found them much more restrained than the boobs of some other anime women (koffmovieNamiKOFF), but I still see your point. XD

What gets me is that not even TÊa "gets the Pharaoh all to herself" (he "belongs to the world," and, you know, he dies at the end of the series) and they still react like that.

Oh, Rebecca isn't such an uncommon name, it's our (the cowriters') older sister's name also. In fact it's a bit amazing the anime writers chose such a normal, yet pretty and not TOO normal, American name for her.

As for how she looks, I can't say anything on that; the way I draw her bangs at least (slightly off-model from the anime, as most of the characters are) isn't too far from the way my own avatar character (GDG) is drawn. Perhaps it is merely a twist of fate.

Honestly I LIKE Rebecca, granted not in her original appearance. Then again I watched the entire series subtitled and have seen less than 5 minutes of the dub.
