Yuki tamed the crocodile!
There are so many tutorials about the crocodile stitch out there but non really worked for me. My scales looked too cramped starting row two, so I wrote my own pattern based on the 'normal' crocodile stitch and made them a little bit pointier. Normally they should be round but I like them that way.
I wanted to make a scarf out of this petrol colored yarn. I got this at least ten years ago and never knew what to do with it but now there were the perfect pattern but... This stitch is SO yarn consuming that I had much too less yarn and they discontinued this color. So I made those mittens and over half the ball of yarn was gone.

I love these mittens like really. They are warm but not too warm and they look really stylish combined with a black coat.

Since I totally enjoy working with the crocodile stitch I would love to add those to my commission list or put them on etsy.
