...Yes I know this isn't the next meme request picture. Sorry about that. While working on the request (which is a different picture from this one and currently in progress), that being Thief King Bakura, I was seized with a couple ideas. One currently ongoing and will delay the picture being done, but if I'm successful it'll be a very fun bonus. Either way it's going to get finished as a sketch.

The other idea was inspiration to draw more fan art for Aurora. I dearly love the stories and I write, but I desperately need to draw more art for them. I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder at times and it makes it very frustrating to say the least when I picture a scene in my head only to have it look nothing like what I just slapped together on paper. Of course that's a whole other rant that shouldn't be part of this picture.

So anyway this picture (as if you couldn't guess) is of Malik and Bakura as young teenagers in Ancient Egypt standing rather close and in a snuggly way. Yes, they do look a lot like the sprite versions I drew of them in Coot-style. [link] [link] The fact that I did them in sort of an MD style definitely heightens the resemblance.

Yes, I took the time to shade this, and no I didn't forget to shade Bakura (or add his scar). There's a reason why his skin isn't tan, but I'm afraid you'll just have to read Aurora to find out the answer. Conveniently I've got the links to the R and NC-17 rated versions right here!
