What's weird is that big daddy looks proud of Johnny in this picture while in the movie up until the end he seemed disappointed that Johnny didn't want to be a gangster. My only question is. What happened?

In this picture, I had him looking more proud at his wife teaching their son piano instead. Although this scene was initially requested by Carrie's owner, if this tailed in with the movie, my guess is that Big Daddy hoped it would just be a childhood phase and that the boy would grow out of it.

I do love little gorillas! I once saw one in a zoo nearly drop a toy, catch it at the very last second, then applaud himself. It was definitely the cutest thing I've ever seen!

I tell you Gorilla are far more adapt than believed. Years ago, my mother took a group of students to the zoo and she was supervising the more 'disruptive' students. When they got to the gorilla inclosure, these young lads started making lewd gestures and faces towards the animals. Without missing a beat, this giant, silverback alpha picked up a pile of dung and flung it at them. Now, the enclosure was covered by a string mesh, so that gorilla when everywhere. The lads were soaked in sh*t and the other students couldn't stop laughing.

Absolutely! To this day, Mum swears she saw that gorilla giving a smug look to the dung covered lads.
That story about Koko and the kitten was heartwarming, especially when she reaches down to cradle the kitten.

I'm honestly not surprised, they're about as smart as people anyway, so why wouldn't they react the same?

I always thought that Johnny learned to play the piano because his mother taught him when he was a child, but when she died, he stopped practicing and so he told mr. Moon who had not played the piano since he was a child.
