This is my number 1 dream hybrid car and probably the first supercar I'd probably own one day with scissor doors.

This one actually tempts me, although I've never seen one. Granted, the only Z8 I've ever seen in person is the one I own. I don't get as excited about actually 'having' any of these cars as I used to - I'm more satisfied to look.

Yeah, and I have to amend my earlier statement. I have an older friend who has managed professional racing teams for over three decades, and also has a rare and exotic car museum and restoration service. When the Z8 first came out, he had the chance to pick up a couple well below the usual price. He convinced me to take one (scared me to death to spend that much on a car!) telling me to keep it in collectible condition and one day it would be worth three times what I paid. I’ve recently been offered just over three times what I paid. He had a black Z8 (the only other I’ve seen) while mine is in the James Bond colors of silver with a grey and charcoal interior.

and the electric motor has 129 hp.

However, the hybrid layout inside the i8 isn't forever.
There are rumors that BMW will create an all-electric second generation model of the i8 that sports an enormous power boost to an insane 750 horsepower from 3 electric motors by 2023.
