Second of many I'm putting up of my Suigintou Cosplay costume.Costume was done by my mother!

I love it! I epically love the sword.. I think I'm leaving out that part cause I don't know how to make it

The sword was made by an acquaintance of mine. It's made from a sort of rod foam, tape, and the handle is actually carved from a wooden rolling pin. There are other ways and probably better since the paint is peeling off mine from the tape.
My eye's are naturally a mossy green but I found some neat contacts that where purple with pink toward the pupil.
I did a lot of research and persistence is the best thing you can have on a project. I hope your costume turns out wonderfully. ^-^

I wish I had made the costume. I only helped out when I could. My mother is the one with the ultimate sewing talent. I will be making my own costumes from now on though. She's going to teach me.

Yay! I wish I had someone to teach me. I have a sewing maching and I bought a "Sewing for Dumbies book" so I should be able to figure it out

I wish you good luck then. My mother said that the best way to practice is to sew lots of skirts. Apparently they're easy and it'll get you used to the sewing machine.

I didn't see any I liked online. Plus my mother is a perfectionist. It had to be made in velvet...ugh...the horror. My friend was Shinku and my mother insisted on velvet as well for her. UGH....
I love the costume though. I hope I can take it to AX this next year.

We had our pics taken quite a bit at the past A-kon. I'm sure if you did a search you can find us.

Well I'm now sewing in training. My next costumes will be made by myself with her help instead of the other way around.

I wish I could convince her of her awesomeness. She has a dA account but she hasn't put anything in it cause she doesn't think it compares to others. I think she'll never know till she does. I love her creations, whether art or costumes.

She has a blast with it. She even sits down and watches anime with me. I have a very cool mom. I love taking her to anime conventions cause she has so much fun taking pictures of the cosplayers.
