Description
Yesterday, work was an absolute bore, so I took some time during my break to print a black-and-white picture for a pose, then spent the rest of the shift drawing a little at the time. I felt that the space around Aphrah was a bit bare (given that it is in Neheleis, it's not uncommon), so I went and drew the wings. What is particular here is that the outline of those wings are covered in Soul Gems.

That idea came to mind when I asked my coworkers what could be done with dust. I knew that sand is used to make glass, and some funerary companies can turn ashes into diamonds... but was surprised to learn of a small Montreal company that turns trash into "black diamonds" (Eco-friendly Jewelry | Cinderella Garbage ). Maybe those "black diamonds" could be a way of making money in Sherad...

Side-note: I used a 8.5" x 14" page, so part of the picture was cut. It was mostly Aphrah's feet and the craggy landscape, so I may just leave it as is.
