Description
As part of my 'Themed Requests', I was asked by GoodKittyNyanchan to draw one of Karyana's pets from my 'Upon a Star' novel series, wearing a frilly, ribbon-filled dress and veil. When I asked if she wanted me to make that pet an anthro, a humanized version or simply the pet version, she let me choose.

I decided to go for a 'humanized' version of Bell (the female of the three - them being Chime, Bell and Whistle)... and honestly, I'm glad I did. I used a 4H pencil to draw it out so I could get as much detail in as possible. It took me a whole hour to work this out, but there was something kind of relaxing at drawing this.

I decided to use the motif I created for Karyana's jewels (Karyana's bracer design ) as part of her wings, and kept her hair short, while adding her horn, ears and tail (there is a barb in her tail, which serves as an emergency weapon).

It's been a while since I've felt that something I drew (or wrote) was worthwhile, and I think the challenge and novelty of this really helped.
